  7. Personal488/SCX allows a PC with SCO UNIX System V/386 to control IEEE 488
  8. instruments. The product consists of an IEEE 488.2 compliant PC plug-in board
  9. and a UNIX device driver. The PC board is compatible with ISA or EISA expansion
  10. slots. Data can be transferred at up to 1 MB per second

  12. The device driver uses familiar HP-style commands to program the IEEE 488 bus.
  13. Other features include error checking, automatic SRQ vectoring and support for
  14. up to four boards in one PC

  16. Personal488/SCX supports multitasking operations, allowing multiple users to
  17. access a single test rack of IEEE instruments. In addition, a single PC can
  18. access multiple test racks through a LAN or WAN.
